NICKNAMES
Prince of Thailand: Since Nichkhun is thai and has good lucks, people in Korea tend to call him this (Korean: Taeguk Wangja). Another reason might be because people acknowledge him as a “perfect” prince, and beside he is very proud of his own country. For your information, Nichkhun is not related to the royal family in any way.

FUN FACTS
• Moved to Thailand at the age of 2 (18 months to be exact).
• Studied in New Zealand for a year and a half at the age of 12, and then resumed school in Thailand.
• Moved later back to the USA, where he graduated High school.
• An agent from JYPE met him at a Korean concert in the US, and invited him to audition. Nichkhun ended up auditioning at a Starbucks near his residence in California. He sang Old Town’s “All or Nothing”.
• He first signed a 10 years contract with JYPE, but was later shortened to 8 years.
• The name “Nichkhun” (It’s actually pronounced like “Nich-Cha-Khun”) was given by his mother. It means “The person who has virtue as a living place” (Having virtue in his heart will keep away darkness, and it will lead to success.) The reason Korean calls him “Nik-Khun” is that a JYPE staff read his English name (Nichkhun) and wrote down in Korean like that.
• In 2007, he was a MC with Taecyeon on J’s Studio, a JYPE program on its website telling news and updates on JYPE’s artists. The program was cancelled after the 2nd episode.
• He was taken out from Ya Shim Man Man 2 because he was not fluent in Korean at that time. However, he immediately gained popularity from being in Star King.
• In April 2009, he went back to Thailand to join the military’s recruitment at Komutputtarungsi Temple. Even though there were many volunteers and it was full on the quota, the military asked Nichkhun to take the card (black or red) from a black box without telling anything to him. Nichkhun got the red card meaning “You have to join the army”, but since the quota was full, he didn’t require to join. The military just wanted to show the process of recruitment.
• In December 2009, he was confirmed to take a role in The Shining Diploma, but the filming was postponed because it conflicted with his schedule and he dropped out in March, 2010.
• He has cried three times in public ever since he moved to Korea. First was in Hot Blood (Reality TV-Show). Second was in an episode of Star King (When he was touched by a less fortunate (blind) group of children singing. He was so moved by their trial and tribulations.) Third was in 2PM’s First Concert in Seoul (Fan event at the Encore Concert), 2010.
• Nichkhun’s favourite colour is red. He usually wears things that are red. We can also spot him with wristbands, especially a wristband that says “We love the King” (refers to the king of Thailand).
• A fan of Disney and Disneyland. Fans always give him Donald Duck things. And he always mentions that he wants to visit Disneyland in every country that has Disneyland. The other members of 2PM recently stated that an animal that resembles Nichkhun is Mickey Mouse. 
• Hates being called pretty and beautiful, and therefore dislikes his baby-like face.
